The 2000´s gave us the golden era in all types of movies specially in the teen category, it envolved everything from awkward glowups/tranformations, secret admirers and the perfect mix of highschool drama✨

1. Mean Girls (2004)

- One of the most iconic 2000´s movie that still lives in some of our heads rent free. Cady heron goes from "homeschool jungle freak" to plastic, learning the brutal rules of highschool´s popular girls.

Mia Thermopolis finds out she´s actually a princess and not just a normal girl. 

Staring the iconic Anne Hathaway, this movie shows how Mia balanced surviving highschool with awkward hair, a crazy grandma and royal training.

3. A Cinderella Story (2004)

When fairy tale meets highschool romance.

The Ultimate modern day cinderella, complete with an evil stepmother, jealous stepsisters, a secret online crush and a epic masquerade ball.

And the rain scene? ICONIC.

4. She´s the Man (2006)

Viola pretends to be her twin brother so she can play soccer at a boy´s school but ends up falling for his roommate.

Staring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum this is the perfect movie if you want a mix of gender-bending caos and highschool romance.

5. 10 things i hate about you (1999)

Altough this one is technically from the 90´s, it still is one of the most iconic 2000´s teen rom-com movie.

Kat Stratford is the typical strong, sarcastic and independent girl who doesn´t need anyone until the school´s bad boy Patrick Verona is paid to date her...

6. Sleepover (2004)

Four best friends sneak out for a epic all night scavenger hunt filled with rival squads, crushes and chaotic sleepover adventures

7. The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003)

Lizzie goes on a class trip to Rome but gets mistaken for a Pop Star and lives out her italian dreams.

Hillary Duff at Her peak with the cutest outfits and typical romance.

Definitely a Summer watch.

8. The Hot Chick (2002)

A spoiled mean girl swaps bodies with a man and has to survive highschool life in the wrong body.

With Rob Schneider and Anna Faris this ovie is full of wild comedy, girl chaos and mix ups.
